Mrs. Young loves when a bride brings in her mother's wedding dress. Usually dealing with a 20- to 30-year generation gap in style, Mrs. Young has to use the material from the family heirloom to create a one-of-a-kind dress. It might have a gathered skirt or a shoulder line that is out of style. By removing the sleeves or altering the neckline, she is able to recreate the dress into a special gown for the bride. Sometimes we add a piece of material from the train in order to fit the bride.
